Boardcraft

Boardcraft

The system with which organs of power make decisions that hold up over time.

Boardcraft is not hired as one capability among others. It is applied across three territories, and all three applications converge on the same point of entry: the Board Diagnostic.

Most boards, executive teams and owning families do not fail for lack of information. They fail for lack of method: agendas that review the past instead of deciding the future, strategies that cannot be stated as a sequence of decisions, and successions improvised once there is no longer time or neutrality left to design them.

Boardcraft is the system Jesús V. Izquierdo uses to intervene in those three territories — the boardroom, value strategy and family continuity — with the same underlying discipline: turning ambiguity into decisions with an owner, a deadline and a consequence.

Board Diagnostic

What is your board deciding this week?

The Board Diagnostic is a structured conversation about a specific decision your board has open. It is not a proposal of services.

Every request is reviewed personally by JVI.
